Abstract

A new formulation of continuous-time nonlinear model predictivecontrol is developed in which the parameters defining apiecewise-constant input trajectory are adapted continuously in realtime. Stability is then proven when the parameter minimizationevolves in the same timescale as the process dynamics. Pointwiseconstraints are incorporated by use of barrier functions.
