Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of robust stability andstabilization for uncertain continuous singular systems withmultiple time-varying delays. The parametric uncertainty isassumed to be norm bounded. The purpose of the robust stabilityproblem is to give conditions such that the uncertain singularsystem is regular, impulse free, and stable for all admissibleuncertainties. The purpose of the robust stabilization problem isto design a feedback control law such that theresulting closed-loop system is robustly stable. This problem issolved via generalized quadratic stability approach. A strictlinear matrix inequality (LMI) design approach is developed.
