Session 679 - Systems Engineering Approaches in Biology I
Contributions to this session are sought that address recent advances and challenges in the application of system engineering approaches to problems of a biological nature. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the use of engineering tools to address problems such as the analysis of metabolic networks, mathematical analysis and simulation of biological processes, systems approaches in intracellular processes, analysis of signal transduction pathways, modeling of drug delivery systems using engineering approaches, and linear and nonlinear analysis of dynamic biosystems. We strongly encourage submissions that combine both experimental and computational approaches. Both fundamental and applied contributions are welcome.
