8th NORDIC PROCESS CONTROL WORKSHOP
August 23-25, 1998

Organized by the Nordic Working Group on Process Control
The objective of the workshop is to bring together the Nordic process control
community.
There will be presentations where the latest work or plans for future work
are presented, but otherwise the format will be informal.
Industrial participation is very welcome, both from the process industry
and from companies delivering services and equipment to this industry.
Skeviks Gård is located in the Stockholm skærgård about 15 km the city.
The workshop starts on Sunday, August 23 1998 at 15.00 with registration
and the meeting starts at 16.00 with a short tutorial course on Grey-Box and
Subspace Identification.
The program ends at 13.00 on Tuesday, August 25 with lunch on a boat which
will take us through the archipelago to Stockholm City with arrival at
approx 15.00.
At the workshop the Nordic Process Control Award will be presented to
F.G. Shinskey, retired Bristol Fellow, Foxboro Company, USA
Those wishing to give a presentation should submit an abstract (min. 200
words) at latest May 15, 1998 to Seija Natri (seija.natri@s3.kth.se).
Notification about acceptance/rejection and the final program will be
sent out June 15, 1998.
No papers are required, but a volume Literature of the 8th Nordic
Process Control Workshop with recent Nordic process control publications
will be distributed at the meeting.
Publications to be included in the volume should be sent by June 15,
1998 to Seija Natri.
