A Class of Optimal Decentralized Controllers for Open Loop Stable Processes
Abstract
This work proposes a methodology to deal with full decentralizedcontroller synthesis in the case of open loop stable plants in thediscrete time domain. The results are based on a convenientcharacterization of the set of all stabilizing decentralizedcontrollers and lead to a closed form one. Sufficient andnecessary conditions for the stability of the resulting closedloop are established and the method is illustratedwith examples.
