Experimental results on industrial applications of the MUSMAR Adaptive Predictive Controller are reported in this paper. They concern superheated steam temperature control in athermoelectric power unit, oil temperature control in a distributed collector solar field, and trailing center line rate of cooling in a arc welding process. The processes considered are described, with an emphasis on the explanation of the difficulties met in the control problems associated to them. It is stressed that the examples presented in the paper are all based on experiments performed on actual full scale plants.
