Adsorption and Ion Exchange

Session 117 - Applications of Adsorption in Reactive and Non Reactive Processes
Oral presentations are being sought that discuss new and innovative research in the areas of applications of reactive and non-reactive adsorption processes including sorption enhanced reaction, and pressure swing reactors and separators. Examples of relevant talks include studies on hybrid reactor separators and hybrid processes in general that both utilize adsorption to augment conversion in an equilibrium limited reaction. Adsorbent development studies for such applications are highly desirable. Papers are encouraged from both academic and industrial research and development activities. A preference will be given to gas phase applications, but liquid phase applications will also be considered depending on the response to this solicitation.
