Heat collection options: direct and indirect

Solar radiation can be converted to heat directly or indirectly through PV and heating elements.

There may be many options for the direct heat collection to a storage.
A storage can be illuminated directly or obtain the heat from a heat transfer loop with a solar heat absorber.
High temperature storage requirements would likely need a solar concentrator.
