2008-01-13:
As most of you know by now, I switched to English because of an exchange student. Due to a collision he cannot attend lectures on Fridays, however, so I will still lecture in Norwegian on Fridays. (He should notify me if he does show up on Fridays, as I may not notice.) It may take a while before this whole page is translated.
2008-02-15:
Easter is early this year, and many (most?) students will be gone the week before Easter. I am thinking about dropping lectures that week (week 11), and instead schedule two lectures during the preceding two weeks (9 & 10), which should normally not have any lectures. You are invited to let me know whaty you think of this plan.
2008-02-20:
The Friday lecture this week will be only one hour long. I recommend going to Lenstra's lecture in F1 at 11:15. I will certainly go myself.
2008-02-22:
We will keep to a normal schedule next week. Next week (week 9) is the first of two weeks that are normally without lectures. I will lecture as usual, and there will be an exercise hour as usuall too. Weeks 10 and 11 there will be no lectures. (And after that comes Easter.)
Yes, I will arrange office hours before the exam, most likely during the last week before the exam. The times will be announced here.
2008-05-05:
Officially, the last day of the term is Wednesday. That day replaces 1 May, so it is an honorary Thursday. This means the final exercises should have been Wednesday, but due to an unfortunate misunderstanding that is impossible. So the final exercises will be on Thursday instead, usual time.
2008-06-01:
Office hours. I will be available in my office Monday–Wednesday 14–16 before the exam. Drop in if you have any questions. (No, I won't tell you what's on the exam.)
