Indium Tracking

Indium Tracking allows users to control chart the performance of their DSC based on Indium Calibrations and Verifications. When you select the menu item Calibration\Indium Tracking from the instrument control program, the following plots—Onset Temperature vs. Time, Heat of Fusion vs. Time and Cell Constant vs. Time—are automatically generated. The instrument stores a maximum of 1000 indium calibrations and verifications. However, when the number of calibrations and verifications exceeds 1000, the instrument will continually replace the oldest data point with the newest value. (Microsoft® Excel 2000 or higher is required.)

Exporting the Spreadsheet

To export the Indium Tracking Excel spreadsheet from the instrument control program, follow these steps:

1. Click the Indium Tracking tab at the bottom of the window.

2. Select File\Save As and specify the destination of the file.

3. Click the Save button.

4. Close the Indium Tracking Excel spreadsheet by clicking on the lower X in the right-hand corner of the window (shown in the first figure above) or by choosing File/Close from the menu.
