Welcome to an overview on our development and testing of various solutions for Heat Storage for Cooking.

Work on Heat Storage for Cooking has been part of a series of collaboration projects with African university partners. The work described here is the part which has taken place in the laboratories at:

The hope is that this overview on the experiences with different concepts can be of inspiration for others working in this field of small scale energy technology. New solutions are needed, in particular on renewable and sustainable energy technology for food preparation.This is not limited to the African context, European households need to replace natural gas for cooking energy.
