Abstract.
In this paper we give an overview of some of the tools available for linear controllability analysis. We present a procedure which may be described by the following main steps:

  1. General model
  2. Scale the plant
  3. Compute controllability measures
  4. Analyse controllability
In this paper we raise issues in all of these categories. An FCC reactor is used as an example.
