Abstract

In this paper we propose a hybrid physical/simulation environment for benchmarking real-time distributed control systems. This environment uses Arena® Real Time for simulation and the Java-based TINI platform for real-time control. Experimental results show that the characteristics of the physical device can be accounted for through the use of this hybrid environment.
