Abstract

Infra-red thermographic image processing is applied to determine temperature distribution in big box stores for potatoes. Low temperature differences can be measured and influences of airflow can instantly be visualised and controlled. It was verified that online thermographic data can be used in a temperature regulating system for climate control. The infrared images are considered within a model to predict temperature distribution inside the filled boxes.
