Abstract

In this paper, the problem of observer-based state-feedback controller design for linear neutral systems is investigated. Employing Lyapunov method and quadratic stability theory, a new delay-independent stability criterion is obtained in the form of a linear matrix inequality which can be easily solved by well-known interior-point algorithms. A numerical example is introduced to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method through simulation studies.
