Networked Control Systems and Communication Networks: Integrated Model and Stability Analysis
Abstract
An extended model for networked control systems is developed byintegrating a networked control systems and a communication networkmodel. Stability analysis of the integrated system is theninvestigated using switched system theory. Specifically, sufficientconditions for global exponential stability of the systems are givenin terms of plant and network dynamics. A simulation example ispresented to study the properties of the extended networked controlsystems.
