Session 335 - Catalytic Processing of Fossil Fuels and Biofuels
Environmentally-conscious energy production is an important challenge for satisfying a growing energy demand. Catalysis can play a key role in meeting this challenge by producing renewable fuels or by developing materials that convert typical hydrocarbon-based feedstocks to useable fuels while reducing the negative impact on the environment. This session focuses on catalyst and catalytic process development for producing fuels from biomass, petroleum, and coal.
