A new microreactor suited for temperature cycling was developed. It has a heating element inside the reactor tube, thus the reacting fuild is heated directly. The energy needed for temperature cycling was much lower than that reported in the previous work. In an oxidation experiment, it was found that the selectivity to carbon dioxide and cabon monoxide can be controlled by varying the amplitude and cycle time of the temperature.
