Session 669 - Nanomaterials: Development, Application, and Societal Impacts on Sustainability
New scientific discoveries and engineering of nanoscale materials hold great promise in the development of more sustainable technologies that can greatly impact our society. Possible applications of nanotechnology include the more efficient use of our resources, remediation of air/soil/water contamination, and the development of more efficient energy production methods. In this session we welcome recent advances in the development, application and societal impact of nanomaterials on sustainability, as well as the risk management of nanomaterials. Both experimental and computational works are welcome.
