Session 583 - Design and Analysis of Green Solvent Systems
We are soliciting papers that describe basic research, applied research and applications of environmentally benign solvents or solvent-blends(green solvent)in (a) the chemical process industry, (b) pharmaceutical industry and (c) biotech industry. Green solvents that are employed in reactive distillation processes are also welcome. Whenever possible, the paper should describe the future potential of the technology in industrially-relevant processes. Finally the paper should describe the selection (or synthesis) strategy and/or quantify the effects of the resulting green solvents on the process.
