Session 408 - Self Assembly in Solution I
The "Self-Assembly in Solution" session of the 2006 AICHE Annual Meeting invites novel works and recent advances dealing with self- assembly of surfactants, lipids, polymers, and biopolymers. Experimental, theoretical, and computational papers are welcomed. In addition to traditional self-assembling components and microstructures, we seek works dealing with newer amphiphiles (such as Pna-Amphiphiles), newer structures (such a fibril forming peptides), and mixed systems (such as surfactant/polyelectrolyte). Special emphasis will be given this year to responsive surfactant systems.
