Membrane-Based Separations

Session 168 - Advances in Liquid Separation Membranes and Applications
This session will deal with various membrane-based separations involving aqueous and organic solvent systems. Papers dealing with novel membrane developments (including surface modification, flux enhancement, fouling reduction), full-scale applications, ultra-low pressure operations, oil/water separations, waste water purification, and advances in thin-film composite RO membranes, nanofiltration, liquid membranes, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, and inorganic membranes are all welcome.
Chair:Norman N. Li
CoChair:D. Bhattacharyya
