Advance Registration:

Advance registration will begin February 7 and continue until April 20. Advance registration in the workshops is highly recommended to prevent cancellation of, or lack of space in, the workshops that you wish to attend.

One regular registration fee (Member or Non-member fee) at the advance registration rate must be paid by one of the authors of a paper accepted to the conference before the final version of the paper can be uploaded for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Please note that a Student/Retiree conference registration is not a regular registration fee and cannot be used to upload the final version of your paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

Payment Options:

Payment should be made by credit card.

If absolutely necessary, those who are unable to pay by credit card can submit a check or money order in U.S. currency with a U.S. banking system routing number payable to 2009 ACC. Please start this process early since until your payment is received and cleared you will not be able to upload your papers. To pay by check or money order, you should first register on-line for the conference as described below. Indicate when you register which type of payment you are using. The on-line system will generate an e-mail acknowledgement at the time of payment. Print the e-mail acknowledgement and mail it along with your check or money order to the Registration Chair at the following address:

Professor May-Win Thein
Registration Chair, 2009 ACC
Department of Mechanical Engineering

W117 Kingsbury Hall

Durham, NH 03824-3591
Ph: 603-862-1158

Purchase orders, bon de commandes, promissory notes, bank transfers, etc., will not be accepted.

Refund Policy:

Please note that if an author has uploaded a paper using his or her registration, the registration will not be refunded even if the paper is withdrawn. Other requests for a refund of the advanced registration fee that are received by the advance registration deadline, April 20, will be fully refunded. Requests received between April 20 and May 29 will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refunds for requests received after May 29.

Women in Control Lunch

Wednesday, June 10
Time: 11:30am-1:15pm

Location: Park View

The ACC semi-annual luncheon meeting of the IEEE Control Systems Society Standing Committee on “Women in Control” will be held at The Hyatt Riverfront Hotel, Park View Room, Wednesday, June 10, 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. The “Women in Control” Committee promotes membership, gathers and disseminates appropriate information about women in the IEEE Control Systems Society and the profession and facilitates the development of mentoring and programs to promote the retention, recruitment, and growth of women CSS members. The meeting is a nice occasion where to get to know new members of our scientific community and catch up with existing members. Moreover, it is a forum where issues such as international research programs, funding opportunities, information about IEEE membership grades, and other timely topics are discussed. All women participants in the American Control Conference 2009 are kindly invited.
