Web-based conference organization


This article is written to summarize our experiences with electronic document collection and distribution in relation to PSE'97/ESCAPE 7, world conference in Process Systems Engineering held in Trondheim, Norway may 25. to 29. 1997.

75% of the abstracts and articles were collected through our web-based procedure, usually with a minor amount of manual intervention needed. The memo found below describes our motivation behind this arrangement, implementational details and results from it's use. A brief discussion of possible extensions is also included.
