Post.doc. on PLANTWIDE CONTROL
Position funded by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (two years, 2006-2007)
A two-year post.doc. position is available at the Norwegian University of
Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.
Candidates should have a strong background in process control.
Important subject areas are large-scale systems, optimization and control structure design,
The project goal is to "model the optimal solution" and from this
develop feedback control strategies for near-optimal operation of chemical processes.
The overall objective is to develop a systematic procedure for plantwide control (= control structure
design for complete chemical plants).
The candidate will work in a group
of more than 10 Ph.D. students and post.doc's.
Annual salary is about 40.000 Euros.
Candidates should preferably be no more than 35 years old.
