We need to decide on a topic for the given lecture of ....
He/she will be given 2 weeks to prepare a 45 min lecture which
is delivered in the morning at the day of the defence.

According to the regulations the topic should be outside the subject
area of the thesis and should be such that it tests the maturity of the
candidate.
