Dear Zhihua,

I am sending you a zipped folder containing a dynamic model of a generic
Petlyuk column for matlab. It might be a little complicated for you to
get started, but if you apply some time you should hopefully manage.
Some of the contents:
genpet.m -is the main routine, with the state derivates as outputs.
genpet calles several subroutines, for example gensec.m which concerns a
single column section.
Included is also several simulink models (mdl). These are all with
various control configurations. (you do not have to use these unless you
want to. but before starting a simulink model you have to run one of the
scripts named "startup...m")
A lot of the files you probably don't need but I'm sending you my whole
folder.
I will also send you a toolbox that is needed to run some of the
controls in simulink (separate email since this is already very large).

Start by looking through the genpet.m script.
