Dear Prof. Skogestad,

Thank you very very much for your prompt reply. Yeah, I used truncation
on the balanced realization model of the original model and I get D = 0.

In your book, page 453, it says that the balanced truncation of a
balanced realization model preserves the steady-state gain. But in this
case, it does not !. Can you tell me why do ?.

On page 467, in your book, second paragraph under Conclusions, it says
that under several conditions, residualization is easier and preferable
over Hankel Norm reduction/truncation.
