Use the following commands to get the files by ftp

ftp kjemi.unit.no
Name: anonymous
Password: <your email>
cd /pub/che/Control.Group/Skogestad/book/matlab
get matlab_book.tar.gz
quit

After this write:

gunzip -c matlab_book.tar.gz | tar xvf -
