Britannia Hotel was started 1897, and it is the oldest hotel in Trondheim. It is well-known for its restaurant, called Palmehaven, since it is very nicely decorated containing palm trees and some water arrangements.
The rates at this hotel are: 520,- NOK for a single room and 375,- NOK per person in a double room both including breakfast.

In the past few years we have put a lot of work into rebuilding and refurbishing the hotel. The result is a hotel as classically beautiful today as it was in 1897.
The Britannia Hotel has 170 rooms and 270 beds. 45 rooms are completely renovated in April 1995.
The interior is unique, a mixture of old and new, with modern comfort. Our aim is to replace the atmosphere of a conventional hotel room with the cosiness of home. Often the rooms are given a special touch with antique interior.
There is a radio, colour TV with hotel information and satelite service as well as minibars in all rooms.
The Palmehaven Restaurant is the most popular place for celebrating special occasions. The restaurant is serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and is also our dance restaurant.
The Jonathan Restaurant, well known for its rustic atmosphere and special menues, is one of the most popular places for a good meal in Trondheim.
Our guests may choose between our Cocktail Bar in the lobby and the Piano Bar downstairs.

The rates at this hotel are: 450,- NOK for a single room and 275,- NOK per person in a double room both including breakfast.
The three university houses are located within a short walking distance from the Dragvoll campus where there workshop is going to take place.
In the university houses there are single rooms (U1) and some double rooms (U2), primarily for students. The rates are 100 per night in a single room and 75 per person per night in a double room without any meals. There is a fully equipped kitchen in each university house, laundry machine and drier. We have only a very limited number of these rooms.
