The Eddy Dissipation Concept for turbulent combustion (EDC)

page edited by Ivar S. Ertesvåg

This is an information page for users of the Eddy Dissipation Concept for turbulent combustion (EDC) developed by professor Bjørn F. Magnussen and co-workers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (formerly Norwegian Institute of Technology) in Trondheim.

The concept has been developed over three decades. This means that what someone refers to as the EDC not necessarily is exactly the same as someone else is using. Notice in particular that quite a few users still use the 1976/78 version. Our group here in Trondheim mainly use the 1989 version.
