Cnidaria: Distribution and general biology of Octocorallia and Scleractinia
in the Trondheimsfjord.
Cirripedia: Zoogeography, general biology of
cirripedian species (Balanidae,
Lepadidae).
Mollusca: Systematics,
zoogeography and general biology of Polyplacophora,
Prosobranchia and Bivalvia
in the North Atlantic and Arctic.
Biotoxicology: influence of antifouling
paint components on cod larvae and lumpfish embryos and larvae.
Hydrography: Long time series on water
exchange in the Trondheimsfjord.
Quite a number of projects and surveys from the above fields are ongoing.
Selected ones to be concluded in 2006-2007 are: Prosobranchia
in the Trondheimsfjord; Polyplacophora
in Icelandic waters; Marine molluscs around Svalbard;
Phycical parameters influencing the depth
distribution of cold water corals in the Trondheimsfjord.
