Abstract

The output tracking control for fuzzy time-delay systems in presense of parameter perturbations has been solved via T-S fuzzy system models and variable structure control approach. Firstly, the sliding mode is chosen via variable structure control theory. Following the reaching condition, a varible structure control methos id proposed according to conditions that time delay is precisely available and unavailable, respectively. The method guarantees the system operation arrives to the sliding surface in a finite time interval and is kept there thereafter while the output is tracking the desired trajectory. Secondly, the sufficient condition for globally bounded state is derived by using the ISS theory and LMI methodology. Finally, an example from the literature is employed to illustrate validity end effectiveness of the proposed method.
