I was born in Tehran in 1981. I went to Alborz High school and Sharif University and graduated with a PhD from SISSA in 2005. After that, I went to the Gatsby Unit, UCL, then to Nordita. Since 2010 I have been a group leader at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience and a Corresponding Fellow at Nordita.

They told their comrades, and to Sleep return'd.

Omar Khayyam, Rubayiyat, trasnlated by Edward FitzGerald
