Zeny

Zeny is the currency used in Ragnarok Online. Often people will use abbreviations such as 'z', 'k' or 'm'.

'z' stands for zeny, ex: I'll sell you this item for 100z. 'k' stands for kilo, or 1,000. 'm' stands for a million or 1,000,000. 'k' and 'm' are often used to refer to zeny. Ex: I'll sell you this for 100k. In this case, 100k zeny or 100,000 zeny.

Other abbreviations of trading are 'b', 's' and 't'. 'b' is for buy, as in the person with the "B> Fish Tail, Mermaid Hearts, Conch" chat is buying those items. 's' is for sell or sale, as in the person with the "S>Your Mom" for a topic in a forum thread is selling or has for sale those things. 't' is for trade as in the person with a "T>a penny for your soul" is trading that/those item(s) for that/those item(s).

When using or reading 'b', 's', 't' abbreviations, the abbreviations refer to what the person who writes those abbreviations is doing. For instance, the person who writes 'b' is the one buying; not the person who reads it.

Also commonly used in trading threads is 'bump', bump is when a person wants to bump their thread so that it's visible on the first page. It can mean "Bring Up My Post" or bump as in bumping it up.

Zeny is not 'zenny' or 'zanny'. Nor is it 'zuly' of ROSE.
