NPC's

Blind folk see the fairies.
Oh, better far than we,
Who miss the shining of their wings
Because our eyes are filled with things
We do not wish to see.

Here I'll try to post a small resume of the various minor and major NPC's that the group has encountered. Don't know if I'll be able to update it as often as I should, but I'll try anyway.

Update: I don't know if I've mentioned this, but for those with a background there is a rather interesting option: It is possible to roll Intelligence + Politics to find out what you've heard/remembers about an NPC. You need a plausible reason for knowing something about him/her (told by parent, grew up together, etc). Thought you ought to know

Janet

An apparently wealthy woman, with green clothing and a horse named Brego, who seems to travel through Pendle forest from time to time. Humble and courteous, she's well-liked by the locals. The fact that she's sneaking off into the forest in the dead of night while she's there to make out with some mysterious lover seems to have evaded their notice though.

Morgan

Molly

She runs the Pup "The Last Unicorn", and runs it well, serving good food and healthy drink. Her curly red hair has begun to sport a grey hair or two, and the woman herself is short and plump, with good cheer for everyone.

Pagans in the Woods

A lot of people seem to be wandering around in Pendle forest, srangely clad in some cases, and chanting and singing around carved stones has been known to happen. Some of these have been met with in person, and some have only been observed. There appears to be two groupings about, but that is pure guesswork.

Evelyn

A woman who looks to be midway through her twenties, with long hair the colour of chestnut, she has graceful movements and a ready smile. She's cheerful and open, and has inquired about the character's motives when they met at Malkin Tower. She also had a meeting with Richard, where they discussed such various matters as local Fae activity and how to dispiose of Andrew.

Richard

Apparently the man 'in charge' of one of the groups meeting in the forest, Richard seems to be nearing fifty, yet is still a stout and strong figure in his traditional kilt and neatly trimmed full beard.

The Black Cat

It's a forest supposedly filled with witches. There's a black cat. We're, what, surprised by this?

Of course, the fact that it tends to show up in strange places, and it's habit of closely observing the Oathcircle, can be rather unsettling. But then it did the same thing when a red-haired man entered the inn one night, so people shouldn't go around feeling special because of it. The solstice also tried to explain the concept of devil-worship to the cat, bringing to mind the old adage of the blind leading the blind. Red-haired guy at InnA young man who's appearance at the inn induced a certain hush, and a lot of mutterings and subdued chatter. Was soon taken away by Kenneth and another person, and brought out to Malkin Tower. The cat followed them.

Innkeeper lady

With her hair almost completely grey, the short and slightly pudgy woman is good-natured and cares for her visitors, running The Red Bull as a cozy home-away-from-home. Though even she can be unsettled when a swarm of mosquitoes and flies enter in october...

Sarah

The young mother who still carries her infant in a sling wherever they go, she is well liked for her pultices for various ailments and troubles.

Kenneth

Another person who managed to discover that Cinaéd was in the room despite his invisibility (he's, what? The fourth or so?), after being threatened by the Smith that if the current troubles didn't stop immediately the Smith would bring his hammer along the next time. Kenneth then asked Cinaéd to deliver a certain message, and kicked him out. Has been seen with Evelyn and the rest of the people in the woods.

Punk

The fae that seems to hold the most temporal power within Malkin Tower after the Princess. His hooves and curved ram-horns, combined with the slight cast of green to his skin makes him resemble some sort of forest deity, especially when you include the large porcupine-like quills protruding from his back. Of course, this ominous seeming is slightly offset by his spiky pink hair, but then you can't get everything.

Tumnil

A timid young chngeling trying to survive the saining, who ended up backing out at the last minute. Unsurprisingly, this enraged his Ritemaster, Keel, and brought a horde of other problems and considerations into the mix. In the end he petitioned the Spring court for admittance, after much finagling and diplomacy on the part of the Oathcircle. In appearance he's a teenaged boy, with cat ears poking through his blue hair, and his yellow slitted eyes resemble cat eyes. Though his clothing is often simply and slightly torn, he's seldom seen without a bell of some sort around his neck.

Tallas

With his tall stature and boisterous personality it's hard not to notice Tallas when he enters a room. His black hair and whiskers which merge with his sideburns suit his small red horns and pointy tail, which brings several human myths to mind, especially when coupled with his yellow eyes.
With a self-confidence and pride you could bounce rocks off he immediately assumes he's the center of attention (mostly because it's true), and feels no shame in bragging endlessly, often with derogatory jabs at those he feels aren't up to scratch. Though it should be said, it is always with a jovial manner, and he isn't stingy with advice and pointers to others who can't measure up to his greatness.

As the mate of Illuein, he's the second-in-command of Clan Eylem, and has much power within the Autumn fae of Scotland, though he seems to use it for little else than getting laid. Also the father of Illian, much to the chagrin of both. WiniAs a member of the Aoor clan, wini has white hair and blue lips, with yellow and green spiralling around each other in his eyes. His friendly manner reminds many people of ice, which can be smooth and glmaorous on the surface, but which can prove lethally treacherous when it caves in.

During the debacle with the Saining, he ended up having a little private chat with Tumnil about the tenets of the Winter court. HwokThis fast-talking short stack of energy like climbing and exploring it seems, or perhaps simply gets bored easily. With his golden hair and red skin he's easily recognizable, especially since he smells strongly of cinnamon. Travelled with Ecwi and Felit during the Saining, but was also seen conversing late at night with Tumnil and Wini.

Mr. White

Also recognized under the moniker of True Tom Thomas, this white-skinned person appeared at the end of The Fall of the rebel Angels, manifesting upon the death of a certain blood-sucking fiend. Apparently answering some sort of summons, he inquired about what was required of him. Some bargaining ensued, before he took off again. He's been seen once before, at Erlben, but little else is known about him.

Lucille

This young woman has lurked about town, in her shabby clothing and unkempt hair. She's suspected of making bees swarm around Cinaéd, and has attempted to eviscerate those who shadow her. Apparently not too fond of Cinaéd, as she spat some hreats at him when she left a meeting with Ivan. Apparently he felt that he needed to talk to her. With many armed people close at hand.

Ivan Grimaldi

Apparently the Seneschal of the local castle, Ivan has been known to act as a witness in disputes and negotiations, and is thoroughly familiar with legal affairs. The closest thing around here to a lawyer, apparently, and in some way he's aquainted with Ix, Nix and Nox. Nobody knows quite how, as of yet.
He has been known to meddle in local affairs, and claims that he's just doing his job. How much of what he's doing is done at the behest of his masters and how he isn't seems to be a murky issue. Seems to be able to manipulate the Duke to some small extent. Not as much as Pierre, though...

Ivan is slightly below medium height, and is very average to the eye. His black hair is hsort, his thin beard is nicely manicured, and his goatee is curled and sinister. Deep-set dark eyes peer out at the world above a mirthless smile, and when he's agitated he has a marked accent.

Count Pierre de LaCroix

A tall, sandy-haired man with an obvious french accent who happens to live at Zher Castle. Allegedly a close friend of the Duke, although he apparntly works there as a treasurer as well. He often interprets the outside world for the Duke, reminds him of things going on, and sometimes tells him what his opinion should be on certain matters. The voice is oily and the eyes are of the palest blue. The clothes are fine and rich, but not gaudy in any way.

Duke Fatimus

A man who seems to be on the later end of his forties, the Duke has lived a life of good dinners, and it shows. His hair was once brown, and some of that colours still lingers in the whiteness somewhere. His eyes, which are slightly larger than normal, are often wide open and trying to make sense of what they see, or remember what all this means. His curiosity contrasts sharply with the fact that he has problems remembering what is actually going on in his lands.

He has managed to aquire some knowledge about the Fae, it seems. He's apparently fascinated by the phenomenon, not frightened, and has ben willing to negotiate agreements with certain memebers of that race (Read: The Characters).

Brother Richard

An armored man apparently followed Veliv home one day, attacked him and Illian with a cross and latin prayers, then proceeded to leave with the two human servants. He managed to cover his tracks well enough to make a clean escape. He was later found by Cinaéd, in a small church, where he apparently lived in the basement. After saving our erstwhile fae from his horrible dementia, a pleasant enough conversation followed, which came to an abrupt end when Cinaed turned into a 4m flaming horror, stole a book and fled.

Daniel o'Northington

Daniel is the young apprentice to the local tanner. This means that he reeks heavily of acid, suplhur and other foul chemicals used to prepare hides. This, combined with his sleek black hair and tall, thin stature made him an obvious candidate to the role as Lucifer. The fact that he's handsome (a mere four and twenty summers old) and is among the most eloquent in the town didn't harm his odds either. Seems very pleasant and enthusiastic about the play

James Butcher

This huge lump of a man is impressive in more than one way. His mere physique is sufficient to render him intimidating to most people, and his deep and resonating voice only complements this image. The voice is mostly used to comment on the immorality of others, and he seldom refrains from speaking his mind about the lecherous and unseemly ways which his fellow townsmen wallow in. The fact that he has no personal hygiene to speak of and attempts to pick up prostitutes at night might seem incongruous, but as long as nobody found out it didn't stop him from playing God on the stage. until he attempted to rent Merílfen, whereupon he quickly ended up unconscious and markedly sick for some time.

Bernard Cammens

As the third son of a local noble bernard seems to have had a mellow life so far. He's the owner of the script, and has so far acted as dialogue coach and director, being the hub which the rest of the play has revolved. The group found out that his wife died last year, and with no children he seems to have nothing holding him back except his friends. Has talked with Andrew, both about the play and about universities.

Weird lumber-sniffing woman

A dishevelled middle-age woman with a wild look about her, first noticed as she inspected the inside of the stands being erected around one of the town squares. revealed to lair in a secret basement along with young men in black robes, she appeared to have some importance to them. She also said she'd received information from the roads, that the local torches told her gossip, that she'd had conversations with the clouds and that she gave orders to the local birds. That she believed Cinaéd to be a great spirit Lord is an indication of her mindset, and she asked him to draw upon the support of his lackeys to help her and her companions. Proclaiming the poor fae to be their makeshift totem, she told him she'd tell him when his help would be needed.

Old and Bent man with Staff

With eyebrows so huge and bushy that he looks perpetually surly, the old man hobbles on his way solely by the aid of a huge and gnarly staff. He's so bent as to be nearly hunchbacked, and he tends to initialize conversations for no reason. Long, rambling and pointless conversations, which he falls asleep in the middle of a sentence. Or attempts to cough up a lung. So far he's claimed to be in town because he's looking for something, and that the play just happened to be here at the same time. My how the coincidences crop up lately.

Andrew ap Gryffyth

A young and enthusiastic welsh lad who has a tendency to notice the Fae even if they try to act in disguise. And he's good at writing things down too. He's admitted to being familiar with Oxford and its environs, and has procleimed himself to be a member of the Order of Hermes. Recently entered an oath with some of the group, in which they swore to give him answers as long as he accepted some limitations on the information he received. Fun was had by all watching him being shocked by the gigantic revelations handed to him.

Ëamin

Like so many other Autumn fae he is a changeling, but if anyone should think this made him less chaotic or less enigmatic they could not be more wrong. He is disconcerting and capricious even in the eyes of the rest of the Autumn court, and none among them trust him one inch. The trouble is that he is so very clever, and is reputedly the greatest master of Trods and secret paths in all of Caledonia, perhaps even all of England.

His blood-red hair is short long and soft as silk, and slender horns pierce his forhead so subtly they are not always noticeable right away. His smooth, handsome features and slight smile hide a mind as sadistic and convoluted as any winter fae, and his clothes are as intricate in nature as fairy-tailors can produce them. The heroes satisfied his thirst for malice, his lust for pain and the destruction and desecration of innocence, when they contrived a plan that spiralled out of control and burned his house and its inhabitants. The trauma they inflicted was sufficiently evil thathe decided to let them have a chance at the trod.

Memnus the Alchemist

A man known to posess the secrets of all manner of potions and tinctures as no other member of the courts, although his history is ever shrouded in mystery. None now know if he be of roman stock or egyptian, be his country of origin be ancient greece or the land of heathen Arabs.
Though he has travelled the world for many centuries, he has recently settled in the Floating Market, where his measures of security forbid more than three persons to visit him at any one time, and where he accepts none unless they swear to perform no magic in his presence unless he himself allows it. He travels much in secret, and many are told to wait until the Dusk when the spells of travel will be strongest and harken his return into the warmth of his own copious tent.

Jakuta the Honest Merchant

A large and pleasant man who prides himself upon his fair trades. He neither cheats not tricks, and is often cheerfully informing others of this fact. If Santa Claus ecided to become a capitalist he might very well resemble Jakuta, if only by their moods. Hir ram horns often make people believe him to possess great temperament, but notheing could be further from the truth. As the merchant he is he loves to dress in bright yet elegant colours, usually be fastening long and resplendent feathers in his belt. His long and curvy locks make a certain contrast to his finely manicured beard and goatee, though his hooves do seem fitting with the latter.

Kehinde

Although she looks like a harem-maid, or perhaps an arabian princess, Kehinde is a dealer in glassware and thethings that can be stored in glass. Powders, potions, gases and crystals are her domain, along with magic flasks of all shapes and sizes. She is indeed charming and polite, yet her manner is not unlike what you would expect of a succubus who has become a used car salesperson.

Domovoi

Though as exceedingly polite as one might wish for, his grey and black attire can be a tad too sombre, especially when combined with his not too colourful mien. His only pride is the quality of his goods, and that is justl deserved, for he sells naught but the finest merchandise. When Illian was made to become a customer in that tent, Domovoi revealed that he would soon be moving his business to the Amber Palace.

Rakik

The mother of Ellip was continually covered in water, covering anything sh touched with moisture. Her plae white skin and curly white hair framed a serene heart-shaped face which was most of the time occupied with restraining the wilder impulses of her daughter. Her eyes were faint blue, and her wings were so transparent as to be nearly invisible, only noticeable due to the faint purple sheen they made in the right light.

Ellip

The little girl of five or so is energetic and artistic, as she loves to fly around whilst creating torrents of music on her cherished flute. Her hair crackles with the lightning-storm, and her electrically blue eyes and skin suits her aquamarine clothing very well. Her mother seems to have difficulty restraining her rambunctiousness sometimes, and at one time she apparently had a magical necklace of some sort.

Hedley Kow

I would gladly post a description of Hedley Kow, but I feel I could never surpass the one I've already got of him. So I'll just hand ye the link then:
The Full Description

The Sheep

Weighted down with too much wool, these fuzzy friends deeply wished for someone to alleviate their burden. When the noble hearoes indulged their heart's desire, they were repaid in kind with vital information and deepfelt gratitude from these noble beasts. They were remarkabl conversationalists too.
Too bad the wool burnt up.

Captain Alazaar the Solstice

This tall, muscular man has skin as red as blood, and his hair is oily black. His distinctly araian facial features tends to make people remember tales of merciless djinni, yet his commanding air and piercing eyes have all the hallmarks of a good captain. Though he might seem brusque to his crew, he is extremely curteous to any visitors he might invite onboard, sharing his pace and his food. Though oe might assume his business includes piracy, it is easy to bragain favours of him if you can name the right price. Yet few things will make him risk his crew or his ship, unless a substantial gain was to be had from the venture.

Lieutenant Ybril-al-Iffin

Taller and thinner than his best friend the Catpain, the Lieutenant always wears an expression of perfect serenity and composure. One feels that if a green and pink mountain was to start spewing flames and dance tango in the sky he'd not even react to it. For the most part, it's perfectly true. He never does anything he did not intend to do, and is a master of self-control. He runs the ship tightly and efficiently.

The fact that his appearance looks like someone who has been trapped in a hurricane filled with razor-blades is a rather stark contrast to this, with torn and shredded clothes and a tangle of hair so chaotic that it's difficult to see the ends of it. Even when he aquires new clothes they tend to end up in this state rather quickly, something that is probably due to him being the child of a sandstorm.

Mehesma-Ir-Alan

Identified as one of the more martial crewmembers aboard the ship, Mehesma has vivid green skin covered in sharp spikes and a temper that matches her appearance.

Burambobo

As huge as this man is, it is not the type of largeness which implies muscles nor big bones. It is the type of grandeur that in lesser mortals would have been labelled 'fat', or to be more precise, 'fucking huge'. Yet Burambobo is also circular enough to rival a beach ball, and his small yet pudgy limbs barely seem to allow him acces to the ground and his toold of trade. For indeed, Burambobo is a chef, and a good one at that.

Atop his cherub-like face sits a hat that looks like the ill-begotten lovechild of a turban and a chefs headpiece. It is as white as his apron, and many a mortal has been terrified by witnessing Burambobo wielding the double-pronged pork-poker. Many wonder how he manages to manouvre about in a small ship, but then they never stop to consider the fact that Burambobo is made entirely of sand. As such it is the easiest thing in the world for him to simply flow through any opening he wants, and he is an expert at reaching beneath furniture for dropped items.

Hassan

A small kid who acts as a lookout most of the time. Scrawny, ugly changeling with ruffled black eathers and a beak that makes him resemble a vulture. GorimmusThere are few who look as old and gnarly as Gorimmus, but with a face like an old treestump who's been suffering from cancer the last decade it's hard not to. A wood inanimae who knows what the ship needs, having a tendency to merge with it when he feels there's too much activity around him.

Mimoih

Renowned as a marvellous healer and brewer of antidotes, the irishman found his home too reminiscent of his wife after she died, and decided to take his business to the Floating Market. This had been a plan of theirs for some time, but the murder was what finally gave him the impetus to go.
The most noticeable feature with the man is of course the long spiralling silvery white horn which protrudes from his forhead, yet his hooves and luxuriously long and wild tail also catch the eye most vividly. The fact that he never wears anything but a few bracelets or bits of string tends to distract people as well. His hair is as white as milk, and his posture is one of utmost poise.

Though he loves his daughter very much he is not the most eotive person in the world, and he doesn't seem to understand young people all that much. His opinion on humans was never very high, and it was not much improved when their newfound religion bereaved him ofhis companion just as she was attempting to help. Likes to dance in the moonlight, as th trees sing eerie ballads for him.

Mirmimeb

A most beautiful and diligent young woman, Mirmimeb has suffered from suppressing her own emotions for too long. Though she is both intelligent and charming, she never had the courage to stand up to her own father until her crush confessed his love to her. She seems to miss Ireland and her friends a great deal, possibly because the market tends to be a tad too exiting for day-to-day life.

In appearance she takes after her father, though her horn is smaller and her legs are covered in soft and shining white fur. She also tends to wear clothes, and animals of all sorts adore her. She likes to sit on the lake and gaze into its depths when she's thinking. Has a rather bad temper when she's finally provoked enough.

Jordan

Some years ago (he forgets how many. Time among the fae confuses him) Jordan was lured away from his village and made into a servant for the Fae. Though frightened by such a prospect at first, he soon came to accept his fate. He's been working for them day and night ever since, with little free time to contemplate his predicament. Yet everything changed when he met Mirmimeb, for she was the most perfet being he had ever laid eyes upon. The fact that she was kind, clever, responsible and so on didn't exactly stop him either.

Heartache can be very bad, especially when you love your master's daughter. When you are certain that she barely registers your existence things begin to take on a tragic bent, yet some outside interference solvet the conundrum in the end. Upon their first kiss Jordan unleashed his magic for the first time, quite without knowing it himself. He'll soon anifest more of his budding changeling nature, but for the moment everyone are more or less convinced he's still a normal human. A human happily in love, that is.

Iku-Engai

When his parents broke an oath they lost their son, and Iku's been a slave ever since. His impressive horns and slender physique may be all the rage with the other satyrs, but for manual labour it isn't really what you pay a lot for.

Olu-Igbo

Another satyr, Olu-Igbo was a tattoo-artist capable of crafting designs that held potent magic within their lines. But the immortal fae have never been too fond of permanently altering their bodies, and his business was never all that great to begin with. When his family incurred debts he felt compelled to help out, and from that point on things spiralled out of his control. He incurred debts of his own, which in the end resultet in his enslavement as compensation He looks much wilder than Iki, with hair that has never seen a comb and shaggy fur. Yet his horns are barely more than bulbs, and he has next to no agression within his soul.

Hosi

The stunningly beautiful desert flower was sold by her husband the Caliph when he tired of her.

Zinjan Zakaar

A shabby and unwashed merchant, with teeth so rotted that even his smile is deemed grotesque and offensive. A heavy bidder at the slave market, and seller of many a fine item like Cloë the bear and other oddities. Feels that his name is all the information a prospective customer needs to identify his merchandise.

Pani

The falconer of Aoor was an obvious choice, seeing as Pani not only has bird-like feet and sharp talons, but she can also see through the eyes of nearby birds. The moss-green hair and brown skin give her an earthy look, countered by the fact that her eyes consist of a golden mist.
When they met her she was mostly drunk and spoiling for a fight. Cinaed gave her this, whereupon she threw her sword through him and launched a ferocious attack upon him. In the end she had her knife to his throat, telling him to yield. Seeing as how she'd repeatedly stabbed him gleefully in the shoulder and arms already, this might have seemed to be a wise course of action. Alas, it was not to be, and he nearly lost his life alongside loosing the fight. Later in the evening she became rather clingy before passing out.

Pekkim

The wife of Tmor has long, blonde hair that continually drips diamonds. Also protruding from the hair is a set of antlers, and her sky-blue skin frames her emerald eyes beautifully. She seems to be quite intelligent and up-to-date, but was gravely injured during the last attack upon her home.

Tmor

He's shiny and metallic and green. With his metallic skin and emerald eyes it's easy to get caught up in the shine, and it seems as if Tmor himself has done exactly that. He seems very distant to the world, and never speaks. He barely reacts to anything, even his closest family. It's difficult to know what he's looking at, seeing as the eyes have no pupil, but are uniformly coloured. Brother or Merilfen.

Garmyn

The spring General was snarky, sarcastic, irritable and angry more or less constantly. He showed contempt for most of the characters, and was especially outspoken about changelings. He mellowed a bit when people joined him for the Hunt, and revealed much precious information, though he also revealed other less savoury sides of himself as well. In the end it was discovered that he had broken the local truce and indulged sensitive information to the humans so they could attack. After intelligent questioning he admitted that this was done to agitate Sithech, which could then be manouvered into a duel, where Garmyn could slay him legally. He despised that Viryd had chosen so badly, and felt she disgraced the entire court. The plan worked, more or less, as Sithech revealed his treachery as well and left.

As a soldier he is strong and lean, standing much taller than the average scotsman. Seldom seen without his coat of bronze scale-mail, and his hair is black and spiky. While his beard is mossy and wild, his hands are covered in painful thorns, hinting at his nature. MalgirichHe was the warrior that ended up taking care of the local winter holding when hus comrade and blood-brother Sithech was held hostage. He seemed jovial and likeable enough during the character's visit, if a bit ferocious at times. his scalp was ringed with small horns, and the smell of rust clung to him always. His muscular frame stood about four foot tall, and he tended to carry around twin axes at all times.

Sithech

He was a bastard who pretended to love Viryd because it was convenient. Was kept as a 'hostage' for most of the oath-truce, listening to Viryd's plans of greater court cooperation with much contempt. As the true rules of Night's Kin he had a great way to observe the defences of his opponent.

His hand was grievously injured during the last battles of the War, something Garmyn informed the heroes that he took savage pride in. Though the hand was shriveled and dead, the rest of the man did not look particularly halthy either. His flesh had the distinct hue of a strangled man, and his features were covered in a thin sheet of frost. His blue-black eyes and sharp, pointy teeth gave him a kind of cruel beauty, like an iceberg about to crush a ship.

Viryd

Met while visitng her realm just south of Hadrian's wall, Viryd seemed to be a competent changeling ruler. Though she seldom showed her mien, she still managed to be slightly aloof in her handling of guests, yet ended up heartbroken when the volatile hostage-situation spun out of control.

Andrea the Witch

The seemingly desperate lady used quite a lot of force and cunning to infiltrate the Winter holding known as Stones of Night's Kin. She taught the local animals to smell the Fae and used thm as a distraction, all so she could destroy the Bloodgraal. Her reasons are still a subject for discussion, and the finest interrogators of Aoor are currently trying to settle the matter. Though young her hair had matted stripes of white, and she wore coarse brown robes. Her staff, puches, idols, feathers and athame were tel-tale signs of her occupation, as were the spiral tribal scars she bore upon her forearms, cut there in initiatiory rites.

Lord Adam MacDomongart

The mortal man who rules the village of Domongard, which lies right next door to the winter hilding Stones of Night's Kin. He invited the travelling companions to stay as they passed by, and mistook Kinaéds golden armor for the accountrements of nobility. Spent much of the evening trying to find out if any of the visitors could be suitable mates for his daughter. He's portly and unkempt, and his brown hair is peppered with white.

Elaine, Heiress of Dromongard

The lovely young eighteen-year old moves with studied poise and dresses in fine linens. As the daughter of Lord Adam she's the closest to aristocracy you get in Dromongard, yet the characters only met her during the one meal they shared.

Culaina the Thunorg

This tall and stately albino Fae can seem otherworldly even to other fairies. With long white hair that seems to billow as if in water, the fact that her feet never touch the ground, and her empty, milky white eyes all combine to give her presence an eerie feeling. The fact that one can never be quite sure of whether or not she notices ones presence is also a factor. Though very ancient and renowned, Culaina has mostly kept herself out of political manouvering. She assisted the Spring court with occasional prophesies during the War of Seasons, but other than that she has mostly wandered around aimlessly, dispensing secrets and riddles to whomever she meets. Lately she has been followed everywhere by a human youngster, and nobody is quite sure if he's her slave, bodyguard, lover or pet, or perhaps a combination thereof.

OGA

The herald and seneschal of Siludar, Oga was a woman to be wary of. Though slow to anger, she had a dominating personality only enhanced by her strength and size. As a Naga she was rather inept at dancing, yet even her movements seemed lithe and cat-like when compared to her grammar. Didn't seem to hold any grudge whatsoever about being beaten at the Wild Hunt.

Noaclax

A sleazy, womanizing scoundrel, with incredibly tacky taste. Was ordered to help Faruk with the investigation surrounding the murder of Namilak, yet was rather nonchalant about the whole deal. Had yellow, snake-like eyes with slitted pupils, fangs, claws and leathery black wings. His black hair was as spiky as his ears, and it was usually brushed backwards. Surprisingly thick eyebrows, when compared to the rest of his style.

Rallp

As a couple of the heroes realized, Rallp was not only a poet of Dikara, but she was also a poet who cared about the deeper meaning behind existence. She saw symbolism in everything, and seldom did anything that did not constitute a statement. Even dancing was done with this in mind, as she felt that her total ineptitude at moving her own body to music made a bold comment towards the futility and pointlessness of joy in a random world.
Her skin was light purple, and small horns encircled her scalp like a crown of sorts. Short blue hair crowned a rather serious and discontent face.

Voraibel

The tall and muscular valkyrie-like woman named Voraibel was not only a member of the Dragon Knights, not only was she the mother of Faruk, but she was also the royal Treasurer. A fact which Tuki and Merílfen exploitet thorougly when they realized she was infatuated by the spritemaster.
In general shee spoke little, and when she had to it was mostly formatted as commands. She might have come across as gruff and hostile (wearing armor to a ball can to that), yet she was most generous when a certain plan succeeded. Hormone-overlode is the suspected culprit. LorhedarAs a spritemaster, this Changeling was mostly reckogned as a lowly servant at best, despite his good looks and pleasant demeanor. easy enough to befriend, if you showed some interest in his hobbies (mainly sprites). The heroes managed to befuddle him into a night with Voraibel. A ploy which has never backfired before...

Amelilir

The heir to Siludar is, among other things, something of a control freak. tends to recreate her surroundings to suit her own taste. this may or may not include the local inhabitants. Danced with Faruk during the festival.

Mildarfen

As King of the Siludar and High captain of the Dragon Knights, Mildarfen holds quite a lot of power in his hands, especially when combined with that of his wife. Jointly they make sure that this power doesn't slip through their fingers, and deal harshly with anyone who displeases them. Yet it is the nature of dragons to hoard, and so they are always on the lookout for both more treasure and more knowledge, since both increase their power. Like the rest of his family, he protects his privacy with such ferocity as to border on paranoia.

Unlike his wife, Mildarfen is hars in both speech and manner, yet exact. Though he throws no tantrums and NEVER raises his voice, his anger is still greatly feared by his underlings. Some time ago his nephew, Mea, returned from his travels with a new wonder: Lenses sharpened to increase eyesight. Mildarfen received a pair as tribute, and has been wearing them ever since.

Molleyn

This fiery shrew has haunted the heroes for quite some time now, ever since they tried to approach the monastery of Erlbenn. After several attacks and confrontations, and after a bit of murder and backstabbing, it turns out that she had been set on her mission by Kelthain. Much of what she did was done because she tried to find him. Now that he has returned, it is assumed that she will receive new orders. Her hair is as red and fiery as her temper (and in this part of the world, both traits seem frighteningly common), and she has a rather forthright manner of dealing with problems. Shoot first and ask questions later. Her enemies should always carry a new shirt, preferably made by Kevlar.

Femilfer

The Queen of Siludar is known to be quiet, calm, and to rule with an iron fist. She deals harshly with insubordination, and rather unusually, she shares almost all executive power with her husband. Her throne tends to be surrounded by glass flowers, which often hides her naga-form. While she is beautiful, it is a cold and distand beauty, sharp and terrible. Several poets have likened her to a shard of glass, pretty to look at but dangerous to have too close.
As the sister of Candorex, she knew his better than most. Has claimed that he was more or less mentally unbalanced even before he became Lost, and is long since done mourning for her sibling. His valuable assets, on the other hand...

Yaolin

A dark-haired fae who managed to save the characters from being tried as murderers. Favour black clothing that goes with the orchids sprouting from his hair, and as gossip would have it, he's supposedly the lover of Illuein.

Korith

As rather minor inanimae from the Aoor family it was a great event when his prey was chosen to be the Quarry for the Wild Hunt during the Festival of the Blood Moon. He's rather tall and gangly, with bark-skin covered in pine needles. His clothing tends to be higly perforated.

Shivn

Though he is considered as an inferior due to his changeling nature, Shivn is among the most talented huntsmen in the land. His lack of status might also come from the fact that he finds politics to be hopelessly boring and unpleasant, and seeks to avoid scheming and plotting as much as he can. He preffers roaming the wilderness, and is seldom seen at the more "civilized" gatherings. Apart from his pointy ears and silvery hair (with a black stripe), he more or less indistinguishable from normal humans, and wears clothing made from animals he's hunted down himself. Always, ALWAYS, keeps what he promises.

He was quite fond of his father, though the two had scant little time to spend together, and was utterly devastated when he died.

Zoolk

With her turqoise wings and hair, not to mention skin that glowed dark red, Zoolk wasn't easy to miss. The alluring smell of oranges drew many to her, and the little Snow Princess knew what to do with them. Yet she never could forgive Eilwedd for stealing away her father, nor his new children for usurping his love so utterly. The angry forsterling became a vengeful fae, and sh spent much time trying to get back at Eilwedd and her children. Her husband, Mea, tried to dissuade her from this obsession, but was unsuccessful. In the end, her plans backfired, killing her.

Mea

This dark grey-skinned fae is usually midly cheerful and pleasant to be around, as long as you can appreciate his dry wit and near-constant low-key sarcasms. His black hair is usually so unkempt that it verges on going rasta, usualy because he's too preoccupied with studies to care about such things as hygiene. From his copious travels abroad he learned the fine art of classcutting, and uses lenses to improve his rather poor eyesight.

Though originally of the Siludar family, he was kicked out after one offence too many. Not only did he still communicate with his brother when he was cast out, but he also remained friends with several fae of "lower-bred" families. One such childhood friend was Merílfens father. When he married Zoolk he was at last ostracised, though since he at least ended up with winter royalty he is sometimes allowed back home for quick visits.

Aaillah

Daughter of Amthoril and the Heir to the Summer Throne. Constantly wet and soggy, and leaves a trail of water wherever she walks. Ordered her underling, Cínaed, to help her win Rallp over to her side. As can be expected, this was wildly unsuccessful.

VeLern

A fiery and intense man, with a rather hefty temperament. Exels at cooking up faerie powder, and willing to sell it if the price is right. Known not only as the husband of Pavona, but also as the man who supplied the dust that nearly killed Tuki. When he realized his roommate had been murdered in their room, he summarily moved the body to the room next door. Problem solved.

Neni

A polite and charming lady, with pure white hair and reddish pink skin. She's been spotted at the Festival of the Red moon, since she was married into the Siludar-family. As her husband was away at the time, Faruk managed to seduce her with romantic evening spent in the local library.

Kelthain

You'll find him hard to recognise,
Cos he won't dress in black.
He wears a suit of gold lame.
With velvet front and back.
But he can touch your trembling heart,
Can touch your very soul:
He'll take you with him when he leaves,
He'll make your dreams turn old.

Some people say that he's a fiend,
A devil in disguise,
He'll promise love and happiness
Bright lights before your eyes,
And still you know you can't refuse,
No matter what you think.
You just got to taste the glamour
Ovations as you sink.

He alone can read the signs
And he can read them well,
But where he gets his power,
There's no one here can tell.

Infamous fae, veteran from the War of Seasons and as the best damn spy Autumn ever had (in Scotland at least). Until he married, changed court, had kids and settled down as a placid family father.

Yeah. right.

Though this is the official story, such a life would have been too boring. Besides, the world is teeming with stuff that threatens the safety of the Fae, and someone has to make sure that everything turn out all right in the end. Kelthain seems to have nominated himself for this role. Or, rather, that is what people belive. Appearances can be deceptive, of course. What is known is that he and his close brother daerian are known for creating trouble when it is found lacking, and being far too clever for their own good. As a person Kelthain is uncharacteristically serious about his family, and takes a personal interest in their well-being. His capabilities, like so much of him, are mystery. This is because he has made sure that nobody should learn his limits, because this would give them an edge over him.

All in all, Kelthain preffers to be the wild card. Many people believe they know his true motivations and plans, yet most of these claims seem to contradict each other. What can you truly trust? Not this description, that's for sure...

Ix

This Fae has still not shown up in anything but his human guise (though Tuki's seen it through his Second Sight of course), and turned out to be a tough negotiator. Crass and to the point, he didn't exactly seem overly anxious to get his nephew Nox back. Ix, his brother Nix and Nox belong to the siludar family. Like his brother, Ix has a naga-like body, and smooth elegant features that could possibly have been serene if his sharp mind didn't show through

Nix

The erstwhile father of Nox has barely been glimpsed once as he tried to defend the unconscious body of Kelthain. as tuki discovered in his vision Nix has a serpentine body from his navel and down, covered in interlocked scales. Being as he is of winter-kin he managed to overwhelm the heroes with supernatural darkness and frostbite before escaping into his own shadow.

Nox

The new-fledged winter boy who was unfortunate enough to run into Tuki and Cinaéd in the middle of town. Perhaps not as unfortunate as the humans who dies due to the magical fallout of the meeting, but still. Having your mind enslaved to another due to the largest guilt-trip of all time kinda sucks. Anyway, managed to kidnap Merílfen (not all that hard, really), and deliver her to uncle Ix. then managed to get himself turned into a bush, only to have a magical gate/medallion stolen by the autumn fae. Relies mostly on his uncle and father due to his own Noob-ness.

Asu

The youngest of Kelthain's two daughters is a loving and caring woman, and wiews most people like she wiews plants: They need help to growand thrive. She's a person who tries to provide that help. Her skin is pale with a green sheen to it, excep her fingers which ae actually the pure green of leaves. Her long blond hair trails after her when she walks, and is usually tied into a braid using vines and flowers. She took to motherhood like a duck to water, and she never really shed that mentality. Mentally he has the label "mother", so everyone else gets a little bit of the label "child".

Aloeni

Reputedly the best seamstress in all of Scotland, this memeber of the Summer Court often travels extensively so that nobles across the land can enjoy her masterpieces. After all, Fae are often quite obsessed over how they look and what clothes they wear, so the Summer Court often gains many favours and repayments for her work. Some of these are even passed on to Aloeni herself.

In person she is short and thing, with long black hair that is frizzy and badly groomed. She is seldom seen wearing anything but plain grey dresses, and she avoids eye contact as much as possible. Her voice is barely audible and seldom used. Tuki managed to shock her deeply during the latest fitting.

Illian

As a son of the Eylem matriarch he was taught from an early age how to be polite and behaved, which shows. But that doesn't mean that he's boring. He's an autumn fae, after all. His eyes are emerald green, but other than this the Changeling looks remarkably human. His dark blonde heir is rougishly positioned, and if he can be said to have one flaw it is his inability to pass a mirror without checking his looks.

As one of the closest friends Kelthain had he was asked to house-sit while the latter was out. This turned out to last longer than expected, so he's stuck reigning the magnificent and homely mansion. What a shame....

Keel

As a man with a thick pelt that can resist a spear it's no wonder Keel feels little fear. His huge boar-tusks and fearsome claws help complement his image, as does his temper. Quick to anger, quick to calm down again, Keel can be quite difficult to live with unless you know how to behave. Also the father of Ainthra. Don't mess with his garden.

Daerian

While he is known for his wild pranks and misadventures alongside his partner in crime, his brother Kelthain, Daerian is also the royal consort of the Matriarch Eilwedd. Known both as a loving father and a fun grandparent, his lack of good judgement sometimes makes him hard to live with, and when he's up to his usual tricks it can sometimes get out of hand. Good-natured and slightly naïve, he usually needs the more focused and cognitive aspects of his brother for pure balance. He loves flying, and is seldom seen without his goggles. Yes. Goggles. Get used to anachronisms.

Merílfen met her grandfather at the spring-festival, and had a short talk with him. He voiced concerns about his then missing sibling, and she foolishly enough gave him the juicy details about their meeting with Candorex. He set of at once to plan, and since he'll be doing all the thinking himself this time, chaos is bound to ensue.

Elen

A quietly competent lady wih excellent memory and a talent for organizing. Has pale, slightly purple hair, nearly white skin and dresses in elegant black clothing notably lacking in any femininity whatsoever. Highly respected autumn court fae, and apparently the sister of Bogg. The mystery of the hankerchief...

Lesil

A young and inexperienced faun from the spring court He told Merilfen that he'd finally managed to make an oath with a human, so he wouldn't seem so pathetic to the other fae. But it was an oath of protection, and when the men of the Church took ginevra and decided to kill her he tried to stop them, which resulted in so many echoes that he couldn't even approach the place. As a minor servant he isn't exactly respected, but he seems to try his best to please others. And he owes the characters, big time.

Olb

One of the few who have offered help to the charaters, as he provided food, drink, obscure information, advice, training and a warning. His skin is as glossy black as his hair, and nobody can be entirely certain of what he's looking at with those entirely white eyes of his. He currently lives in the palace of vornkral among his summer companions, where he governs a vast library of eldritch lore, which he has been nice enough to give the characters full access to. He has promised to find out where the Spear of Cu Cuchlainn is, since the characters have picked up leads that point to this instrument of myth.

Rymph

The enthusiastic and artistic Heir of Mrriv House, and the ruler of the holding that happens to be the closest neighbor to our heroes. With skin and hair made of gold, and with eyes glowing like the sun you'd kinda expect her to be, well, energetic. and she is. If she could only get some focus and get down to earth she'd probably be frighteningly efficient.

Ainthra

So far only Cinaéd has spoken to her, at which time she seemed to be bored out of her skull. They talked a little, and both seemed to feel out of place at the hedonistic Spring festivities. As the image clearly shows, she is blue. That's about all we know about this inanimae.

Akkoran

Uptight, stiff and curt he may be, but that is to be expected when you're trying to effectively organize a realm ruled by Rymph. His dark blue skin, mismatched eyes, tail and mane of well-groomed hair does give him a certain aristocratic aura, which he likes to enhance with formal and regal clothing.
Though he has been encountered several times, he has mostly been sought out when the heroes needed to locate someone or seek an audience with Rymph herself. A rather notable exception occurred when everyone were invited along for lunch, which resulted in spontaneous combustion and a request to leave. The gauntlet has been thrown and the silk gloves removed. No more warning shots...

Namilak

A rather overenthusiastic member of the Summer Court, who got the mission of teaching Cinaéd a thing or two about using the Day dominion. He's pretty much a bibliophiliac, looks like a satyr with blue tribal-markings covering his skin, and for some reason he's very interested in crystals. Go figure.

Nanim

This little rhymer had a little chat with Merilfen, and as she found out he can be difficult to deal with. His fiery hair and roughish grin that always seems to hover on the edge of malevolence can be quite unsettling, and his requests are often difficult to understand. Apparently one of the very last people Kelthain consulted before disappearing...

Ecwi

He has been introduced to a few of our brave heroes, but so far they have only exchanged a few words. He is famed for his great skill with all types of swords according to Tuki, and prides himself on his chivalric ideals. With long turquoise hair in a ponytail and a thing twirly moustache it is easy to laugh, yet the wide-brimmed hat with the huge feather in it doesn't exactly help either.

Pavona

A serious and polite woman, unassuming and moderately dressed. Member of the spring court, though much more relaxed than many of her kinsfolk. Apparently happily married, and the much loved sister of akkoran, two facts that have caused trouble as of late.

Tair

With skin the colour of chocolate an a ponytail that is as wild as a thory bush this lady is in many ways quite different from her sister Ainthra. She left the home of her paents when Tuki was only a child, and began work at Luvonkral as a messenger and errand-girl. It took her time work up through the hierarchy. Her taste in jewlery can be a bit much on the golden side, but this is explained away as necessary due to most of it being magical tools.

Edmund

A man that was convinced that Ginevra practiced Dark and Evil magics. She was condemned to death by burning at his orders. The fact that he could blow apart doors in the Name of the Lord didn't exactly help matters, and he was last seen plummeting from the top of a six-story tower.

EsamA mother of three daughter, all of them adults at last. She's looking for someone to 'spend some time with', and she seems to have found that person. She's covered entirely in feathers, her plumage composed of dark and earthy colours. She doesn't have hair in the traditional sense, but elongated feathers that look very much like the real thing. For some reason she's also rather interested in learning how to harm people physically. This could be interpreted as a sign of danger by some people. but they're wimps and will be ignored.

Ginevra

A sweet young human girl, barely past her twentieth summer. Her dark hair and fair skin was no defence against the men of the church who sought to burn her as a witch for casting evil spells on them. Good with herbs and bandages, and a friend of Lesil the faun.

Sûriontin

The royal consort of Summer is a charming and pronged man, who just happens to be the nephew of Merilfen. He's tall and regal, as befitting a man of his status. He's also smooth as melted honey when he has to.

Bogg

The Seneschal of Amthoril, and as busy as a bee. She dislikes people who don't do what she wants. After all, she knows BEST. The one to talk to if one seeks an audience or someone to scold you.

Leyana

A magnificent dancer, with eight fingers and pale blue skin. Currently lives in the small winter holding up in the mountains. She's coldly intelligent, though she can be very charming when it suits her.

Candorex

An ancient and powerful Firstborn of the Siludar family. His agression and cruelty was only matched by his total madness, as the oathcircle found him thoroughly lost. His pale blue skin and icicles instead of hair marked him rather clearly as belonging to the winter court. The fact that his realm looked like the north pole and his whole effing castle was made of pure ice were also helpful clues. Last seen when his sprite rescued him from the crumbling of his home. Location unknown.

Amthoril

The Matriarch of Summer, with all the temper and authority that comes with the title. The Lady who commanded the Oathcircle to find out what in the world they released, and who turned Vukutae into a pig. It should also be noted that she did reward them for solving the Erlbenn problem, even though she was furious beyond belief. This willingness to uphold her sworn word in spite of personal feelings is rather impressive. Also the Wife of Sûriontin.

Felit

A horned winter fae who spent a morning playing chess with vukutae. Apparently a neighbor.

Captain Mallone

A scurvy seadog, found heavily inebriated in a shady and disreputable den of drinking in Erlbenn, where he dispensed tales of terror and stores of the horrors which came from the Monastery on the hill.

Granny
This rather old human female lived in a decrepid cottage on the outskirts of erlbenn. She was good at telling stories, especially about the monastery and its shady past. It was she who first told Merilfen about True Tom Thomas.
