This is where we honour the men who gave their lives in our crusade
against the malicious monstrosities we face on the pitch.
On the 28.09.98 John DiFool was killed in a tragic accident in a game that
would prove to be disastrous. John DiFool was a
highly respected member of our team, although his short career only
allowed him to score 2 of his 4 touchdowns in the Orca Cola Premier
League. Being a catcher, he didn't cause many casualties, but the one he
did cause was rather spectacular.
In the same match Bill Steer also said good bye to his teammates. His
short career only allowed him to cause 1 casualty, but he was a sturdy
lineman.
The opposing team, "De Grusomme", will succumb in our quest for revenge.
On the 15.09.98 we lost Jeff Walker in a match vs. "Moria Destroyers".
Lineman Jeff Walkers record doesn't show any touchdowns or moshed
opponents, but I guess he was pretty good at... uh, forming a
line.
On the 03.11.98 one of our throwers, K.O. Johnsen, was killed in a game
vs. Moria Destroyers. It's not the first time this team suffer such a loss
imposed by these dwarfes, but we WILL have our revenge.
K.O. Johnsen scored 1 TD, and made 2 complete passes. Also, he served as a
sturdy lineman. We will miss him...
On the 23.11.98 our new catcher Kirk Hamlet left us. Only a very few of us
noticed his presence in the first place. Hope your happy, where ever you
are...
The 02.02.99 was truly a sad day for The Superior Beings. Our beloved
linewoman Kate received a fatal blow in a match vs. the infamous
Bloodweiser Bulls. Our apothecary, Dr. Zack Kevorkian, was not able to
make amends, an thus Kate said her last goodbyes.
Kate was highly respected, and she opened the door for female players, not
only on our team. In her short career she scored 2 TD's, made 3 casualties
and received 4 MVP's. She was seriously injured 3 times in her career, and
from the third she did not recover... Kate, we'll forever miss
you.
On the 13.03.99 Harry Headbanger seem to have been killed. Or maybe not.
No one has seen him since the match, and apparently, one of us got killed
by The Nurgles Pest Runners. So at least, we assume it was Harry. No one
else is missing. Whatever, we won't miss him anyway.
De Grusomme just can't refrain from killing our men, can they? This is
the third time they do this!! Our relatively new cathcer, Speedy Gonzales
left us on the 08.04.99. In his short career he scored one touchdown. This
was in the Orca
Cola Cup vs. The Reservoir Rats. Cathers don't last very long, do they?
Sometime in between seasons, we seem to have lost Bloody Stupid Johson. Apparently, he died in a training match vs. Shaka Soultwisters.
Oh well... Linemen come, and linemen go.
On the 26.10.99 Our young and promising catcher Schmeichel Jordan died in a hideous display of bloodlust by the human team Thougher Than
The Train. This is the fourth catcher this team mourn, and it is evident that something has to be done. Jordan scored one TD and was
elected MVP once in the few number of matches he got to play for us before fate got the best of him... The best die young, but in our
case it seems that the young die best. So long Jordan!
The undead grow in numbers, and will continue to do so, always. On the
08.11.99 they convinced our veteran blitzer Rik Havoc to join their ranks.
Rik Havoc was one of the most dominant players on our team, and we will
miss him dearly... He did not get a great number of TD's (2 TD, 3 CAS, 1
MVP) but he was always willing to make a sacrifice for the team (2
serious injuries, killed 3 times), he was
always in the midst of the action, and he could always be counted on,
although he himself could not count. Rik, you will be dearly missed!
Sometime late in November 1999, Evert Gull was killed by the ill-mannered darkelven team
Shaka Soultwisters. Evert Gull achieved nothing in his ridiculous career as a lineman. Good
riddance!
Thougher Than The Train smothered our up and coming thrower Speckled
Jim. His skills were developing nicely, but he never reached the hights of
stardom. He contributed with 7 complete passes, 1 TD and was elected MVP
once before he kissed his ass goodbye...
